Laser eye surgery is usually not recommended for children or anyone who is not an adult. It is also sometimes risky.
Most of the time, one eye is done at a time because if there is damage during the surgery you don’t want to lose your sight completely in both eyes.
Also, persons whose corrective lens prescriptions has changed more than once in the past year may not be a qualified candidate due to constantly changing cornea shape.
